At approximately 12H00 on Tuesday 15 May 2018, a Netcare 911 ambulance was stopped by a SAPS vehicle and asked to assist at a sewerage plant in Vanderbijlpark.
The crews went to the sewerage works and assessed a well developed male fetus, tragically there was nothing that the crew could do to help as there were no signs of life. Documentation pertaining to the death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to the police.
The Vanderbijlpark SAPS were at the scene and are investigating the incident.
