Four injured after vehicle crashes into tree on Reinecke street in Carletonville

One person sustained serious injuries and three others sustained moderate injuries after a vehicle crashed into a tree on Reinecke street in Carletonville last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 22H30, they found a 24-year-old woman still entrapped in the vehicle. The fire brigade had to extricate her using the jaws of life. She was found to be in a serious condition. The ER24 Oneplan helicopter airlifted the woman to hospital for further medical care.
The rest of the patients were transported to hospital with the provincial EMS.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
