A man was killed this morning in a shooting incident on 4th Avenue in Krugersdorp.
ER24 paramedics, along with another private service, arrived on the scene at 06h13 to find the body of a man, believed to be a security officer, lying in the middle of the road. Local authorities were already on the scene and were beginning to close off parts of the road.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead by another service.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
