Vehicle Overturns After Losing Back Wheel at Phoenix, KZN

Two people aged 29 & 16 were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on Phoenix Highway near Gandhi Park in Phoenix last night.

At approximately 20:18 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from a motorist reporting the accident. Upon arrival a Renault Stepway was found lying on its roof. The 24 year old driver explained that the back wheel on his vehicle suddenly came off resulting in him losing control and knocking into a light pole which caused his vehicle to overturn.
