At 08H04 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to reports of an injured cyclist on Vause road in Musgrave, Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 57-year-old male had sustained a serious fracture after falling off his bicycle.
The patient was treated on scene and transported by Netcare 911 ambulance under the care of an Advanced life support paramedic to a hospital for further treatment.
