Hijacked Vehicle Recovered in Ndwedwe, KZN

A Toyota Etios that was hijacked in the Verulam CBD last night was recovered by members of Reaction Unit South Africa earlier today (Wednesday).

The vehicle was fitted with a tracking device from Tracker and was emitting signals in the Ndwedwe – KZN area. RUSA head Vinod Balram and Reaction Officer Reubendra Reddy went in search of the vehicle and honed in on the signal in a remote part of Ndwedwe.

The vehicle was recovered down an embankment. The suspects allegedly lost control of the Toyota Etios after they failed to negotiate a bend on an unpaved road.

The vehicle was handed over to Police for further investigation.
