Two suspects arrested with abalone in Parow, Western Cape

The vigilance of Parow Crime Prevention Unit members landed two suspects behind bars for being in possession of #abalone last night.

The members were on patrol duty when they spotted a suspicious vehicle in De Tyger Road which prompted them to investigate further. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 74 units of abalone with a street value of about R 13800-00. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and are due to make a court appearance once they have been charged.
