A male motorbike rider, believed to be in his 20s, sustained serious injuries in a collision with a bakkie on Lancaster road in Actonville in Gauteng last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at approximately 18H00, they found the motorbike rider lying next to a wall on his back. Paramedics found that he sustained serious injuries.
He was airlifted by medical helicopter to hospital for further medical care.
The passengers of the bakkie were found standing outside, and all five of them were found to have sustained minor injuries. They refused transportation to hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
