SAPS Officials Injured in Collision in Verulam

Three SAPS Officials were injured following a collision on the northbound lane of the R102 near the Verulam intersection yesterday afternoon.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by passing motorists reporting a collision between a Toyota Etios and an Audi SUV. Upon arrival three Police Officers were found to have sustained injuries and were transported to hospital for medical attention by a private ambulance service. The driver of the Audi was not injured.
