The South African Police Service (SAPS) will pay tribute to the fallen heroes and heroines who lost their lives while performing their duties at the Police Memorial at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on 02 September 2018.
These colleagues in blue, aware of the dangers associated with policing, fully committed themselves to serving and protecting the communities of South Africa. In this process, they paid the highest price for their dedication and patriotism, that of their own lives. This is the selfless, undying commitment that police officers have to protect and serve.
#FinalSalute for Constable SL Buckham who died on 2016-11-08. He was station at Division: Crime Intelligence in Kwa-Zulu Natal and had 01 year service at the time of his death. Constable Bucckham was shot and killed when he pulled over a suspicious vehicle at Othombothini area.
