Our endeavours to ensure the safety of the people of this province, led members of the Western Cape Flying Squad to a residence in Protea Heights, Brackenfell this morning where two male suspects aged 33 and 49 were arrested with unlicensed firearms and a large quantity of ammunition.

The search of the premises at around 09:00 this morning resulted in an unlicensed revolver, a handmade firearm and a barrel of a firearm being confiscated. Possible stolen goods and ammunition comprising a large variety of rounds were also seized.
