Members attached to Kensington SAPS received information from the public that drugs were being sold at a house in Third Avenue, Kensington. The police officers reacted swiftly and a search at the premises revealed that a total of 65 rounds of ammunition and two grams tik were stored in a cupboard in the house. (The rounds consist of 9mm rounds, 38 special and .22 rounds)
They arrested a 20-year-old male who is due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate court on Friday, 26 October 2018 on charges of possession of ammunition and possession of tik.
