A very exciting event was held by the Aliwal North Youth Crime Prevention Desk at Hilton GXD Church Hall. The event was attended by representatives of the CPF and other government departments.
Various items were presented during the event. A group of youth performed a play on issues of crime prevention. An ex-offender also shared his experiences and warned the youth not to get involve in crime.
The community were also afforded the opportunity to engage with all the different role players and to raise their concerns.
The programme were concluded with a debate between two local schools.
The Cluster Commander Brig Trevor Mey commended the Youth Crime Prevention Desk on their successful event.
