The 2018 Haval Outreach Expedition recently wound its way into East London. The convoy is on a two-week journey that started in Johannesburg and has been making its way down the east coast of South Africa.
Upon arrival the convoy was welcomed by Haval East London who hosted a cocktail evening for their dealer launch of the new H9. Customers who attended the evening got their first look at the new seven-seat luxury SUV, which made its local debut earlier this month.
The next morning three Haval H9’s tackled a 4×4 route just outside East London. It was the first opportunity on this journey for the H9 to settle into 4L mode and take on some real South African off-road driving. Depending on the surface, the Haval H9 can be put in either 4L Mode or Sand Mode, which ensure optimum traction to get over tricky surfaces.
The premium SUV climbed the steep uphill sections with ease while the high ground clearance ensured a confident drive over rocky and uneven surfaces. The fact that all this was completed on standard tyres is testament to this vehicle’s exceptional off-road capability.

From East London the convoy of two Haval H9s, two Haval H6Cs one Haval H2 and a GWM Steed 5E headed to Port Elizabeth, the seventh stop on the 2018 Haval Outreach Expedition.
