Eastern Cape: Nongenile Manqoyi (104) was reunited with her family after she went missing yesterday at 5pm.
Sergeant Zola Mbuli of Barkly East Detectives and Constable Nicky Cronje of Elliot K9 Unit were alerted of the missing person after 22:00 last night. The team started to search immediately and through the night. This morning, 13 October 2018 at 09:50, the elderly woman was found in the field, alive, wet, cold and disorientated as the weather conditions through the night were not favorable for anyone to be outdoors.
She was taken to the hospital for medical attention and her family members were informed of her being safe and found .
The Cluster Commander, Colonel Matshediso Gezani commended the two members on their commitment and dedication in finding the woman.
