Northern Cape MEC for Transport to Re-Launch Public Transport Inspectorate Unit to maintain in the public transport sector

The Northern Cape MEC Lebogang Motlhaping, responsible for Transport, Safety and Liaison in the Northern Cape will on Thursday, re-launch the Public Transport Inspectorate to reinforce land transport law enforcement on the Province’s roads.

The Public Transport Inspectorate, known as PTI, is being re-launched to strengthen and improve land transport law enforcement in the Province and help curb illegal public transporters.
Public Transport is the biggest form of transportation used on a daily basis, so the relaunch of the unit will seek to improve the public transport sector and experience for commuters.
