Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (Pty) Ltd once again held a successful Charity Golf Day on the 24 October 2018 at Centurion Country Club. This is its 10th annual charity golf day whereby R179 000 was raised. To date Bakwena’s charity golf days have raised almost R2 million.
The funds raised from the golf day will benefit six charity organisations which are aligned with Bakwena’s corporate social investment strategy. The chosen charities are PinkDrive, Cancer, Laudium Cancer Care, Wheel Well, Thusanang Day Care Centre and Mohau House.
Bakwena’s Charmaine van Wyk says “We are particularly grateful to our valuable stakeholders, who have generously supported us for the last ten years and contributed to the success of the event.”
“As a socially responsible company, this initiative forms part of our social development programme where we contribute to the health and well being of communities adjacent to the N1N4 routes that we manage.”says van Wyk.
