he Station Commander of Sterkspruit Col Baninzi together with Lt Col Moliko the Visible Policing Commander lead a team supported by the CPF and the Youth Crime Prevention Desk members on an awareness campaign.
Theft of cash at ATM machines were identified and the need arise to educate the community on banking safety.
The different banks were visited and pamphlets on banking and general safety were distributed to the people standing in the queues.
Crime Prevention foot patrols were also done in the CBD and taxi rank as well as shops were visited.
The Cluster Commander Brig Trevor Mey commended the Station Commander and her team on the initiative to address the crime in the area.
