17 people were injured during a multi-vehicle collision on the N3 in Town Hill

Seventeen people sustained minor injuries in a multiple vehicle collision on the N3 in Town Hill, Pietermaritzburg this morning.

In the first collision, a taxi and a bus collided leaving ten people with minor injuries. While the paramedics were busy assessing the patients, another bus came around the corner and a second collision followed. Seven people from this incident were found to have sustained minor injuries.

ER24, as well as various other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
