As scores of holiday makers made their way to beaches, SAPS deployments intensified on major routes. Roadblocks and Vehicles Checkpoints in an effort to ensure all get to their destinations safely were the order of the day.
Meanwhile Mitchell’s Plain Community Policing Forum (CPF) members, SAPS, Metro Police, Life guards and volunteers were on hand at Mnandi Beach to see to the safety of children and adults. Parents and child minders are urged to look after children and know their whereabouts at all times.
