About 20 casualties have sustained various injuries in a Multiple Vehicle Pile-up on the M7 Edwin Swales towards the Bluff before South Coast Road.
The scene is active and the recovery of the vehicles is underway. There is debris on the roadway and motorists headed in that direction are urged to use alternative routes.
