Twenty one children have been injured on their way to school when the taxi they were in collided with a vehicle on Galloway Road in Sydenham just after 7am on Thursday morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple children had sustained minor injuries. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist and once all of the children had been treated they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
