Bishop Lavis police arrest two suspects after four bystanders shot and injured

 Shortly after a shooting incident in Bream Road, Nooitgedacht in Bishop Lavis last night where four victims were injured by three gunmen, local police on patrol apprehended two fleeing suspects at the intersection of Baracudda Crescent and Salm Road in the area.

The suspects aged 42 and 31, one of whom is also a wanted suspect in a murder incident that occurred last week in the same area were found in possession of a 9mm pistol whose serial number was filed off.

They will appear in court soon on charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of a prohibited firearm. Meanwhile police are in pursuit of a third suspect implicated in the shooting incident, who they believe will be arrested soon.
