East London TRT members received information about alleged drug dealing activities at Buffalo flats area.
Upon following up on the information received, members recovered one pistol with one live round of ammunition and one magazine.
One half Mandrax tablet was also found and a 24-year-old female suspect was arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm, possession of live ammunition and possession of Mandrax tablet.
The team thereafter proceeded to Amalinda where they recovered a stolen vehicle. The two male suspects between the ages of 25 and 35 were caught red handed, busy stripping the vehicle and they were arrested for theft of motor vehicle.
All suspects will appear in the East London Magistrate’s Court on the 2019-02-11.
