Five Injured In Head-on Collision at Mt Edgecombe, KZN

Five people were injured following a head-on collision on Hillhead Drive in Mt. Edgecombe this morning (Tuesday).

At approximately 07:38 members of Reaction Unit South Africa was called out to the scene by passing motorists reporting the collision. Upon arrival it was established that a Hyundai H100 bakkie belonging to a landscaping business was traveling towards McDonalds when the driver overtook a stationary vehicle in front of him. The bakkie then collided head-on into a Toyota Quantum taxi that was traveling in the opposite direction.

Four occupants of the bakkie as well as the driver of the taxi sustained mild to moderate injuries and were transported to a Provincial Hospital for medical attention.
