KwaZulu-Natal: At 15H30 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian-vehicle collision on Archie Gumede Drive in Masons Hill Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that and an adult male was struck down by a heavy motor vehicle while crossing the road.
The patient was assessed on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic and found to have sustained serious injuries.
Once stabilized the patient was transported to by another private ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.
