An off duty security officer was stabbed during a robbery in Phoenix – KZN a short while ago (Saturday).
At approximately 19:01 RUSA Members were on patrol in the area and located the victim lying near a pathway. He was bleeding excessively from a stab wound to his right leg. He explained that while walking home after work he was accosted by four men who demanded his valuables.
At some stage during the robbery one the suspects stabbed the victim before they stole his cellphone and fled on foot. The victim was transported privately to hospital by his work colleague who arrived on scene a short while later.
Reaction Officers conducted a search for the suspect however no arrests were made.
