Help police to solve reckless and negligence driving case

Mountain Rise detectives are appealing to members of the community to assist with any information that will assist them in solving a reckless and negligence driving case that was reported in their area in January this year.

It is alleged on 28 January 2019 at 16:10, a pedestrian, Duduzile Doris Khumalo (43) was walking along Bambatha Road [New Greytown Road] near Prilla Mills Factory when she was allegedly struck from behind by a vehicle. The said vehicle did not stop after the accident and the driver did not report the collision to any police station. The injured woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition. A case of reckless and negligence driving was opened at Mountain Rise police station for further investigation.
