A middle-aged male pedestrian has been knocked down and killed by a truck on the R59 while crossing the Vaal River bridge outside Vanderbijlpark this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics were on scene at 12:29 but unfortunately the man showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival. The South African Police Services were already on the scene investigating.
