Our efforts to protect the community from armed criminals resulted in the arrest of a 31 year old suspect last night in Lavender Hill. Members of the Steenberg Crime Prevention Unit conducted an operation in the area when the suspect was searched in Military Road Lavender Hill at about 19:30.
He was in possession of a .38 special revolver with six rounds of ammunition. Once charged the suspect will make a court appearance in Wynberg.
