EASTERN CAPE – Elliotdale Police detectives arrested a 33 –year-old man for alleged murder of a 29-year-old man. It is alleged that the 29-year-old man was stabbed on Saturday, 25 May 2019 at about 23h45 in a tarven at Rhada Locality, Ntlonyane Village, Elliotdale.
The 29-year-old man was rushed to Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital in Mthatha where later passed away. The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 28 May 2019 and charged with murder. The motive behind the murder is not yet clear. The suspect is appearing before the Elliotdale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 29 May 2019 on a murder charge.
