Officers ward off suspects and ensure a safe journey home for community members

We are always grateful to our followers to take the time to give a shout out and a thank you to our members.

On Saturday, 18 May 2019 we received a message on Facebook from one of our followers, Ms Dreyer, expressing her gratitude towards two officers from Mankweng SAPS.

Ms Dreyer and two female colleagues were on their way home travelling on the Modjadjiskloof Highway when three men in a vehicle next to the road, threw sharp objects onto the road, puncturing a tyre of Ms Dreyer’s vehicle. They were forced to pull off the road and the men started approaching their car when Officers Mogoro and Ramalepe warded them off. The officers also ensured that the ladies were able to return home safely after replacing their tyre and ensured that they got back on their way safely. Ms Dreyer said: “Thank you so much. Officers like these make our land a better place. Keep up the great work.”
