Five people were left injured yesterday evening following a collision between a light motor vehicle and taxi on the R56 in Richmond, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 medics, and other services, arrived on the scene at 18h30 to find the taxi on the one side of the road while the light motor vehicle was found on the other side.
Paramedics tended to the patients and found that three people had sustained moderate injuries while two others had sustained minor injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
