Hijacked taxi recovered in Ndwedwe

A Toyota Quantum taxi that was hijacked by two armed suspects in Umlazi – KZN was recovered abandoned in Ndwedwe near Verulam a short while ago.

At approximately 22:38 tonight (Wednesday) members of Reaction Unit South Africa received information that the mini bus taxi was fitted with a vehicle tracking device from Tracker and was emitting signals in Ndwedwe. Reaction Officers and Tracker Recovery Agents proceeded to the area and recovered the taxi abandoned in an open field with the keys still in the ignition.

A search for the suspects was conducted however no arrests were made.
