EASTERN CAPE – Two male suspects aged 26 and 31 were arrested last night after being caught with approximately three(3) kilograms of compressed dagga and more than 170 tablets of Mandrax.
The arrest comes after Kwazakele police members received information about the drugs being sold at a house in Mpehla Street in Zwide.
Upon searching the house at 23:00 last night, the Mandrax tablets as well as nine (9) bails of compressed dagga were discovered and confiscated. The estimated street value of the drugs is about R 15 000.
The two suspects were arrested and charged with dealing in drugs and will be appearing before the New Brighton Magistrate’s Court on 07 June 2019.
