A foetus was found dumped in a dustbin near Kathrada Park in Newclare, west of Johannesburg on Thursday evening.
Shortly after 9pm, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found members of the SAPS already in attendance. Upon assessment, a foetus was found in a bag in a nearby dustbin. There was nothing that paramedics could do, and a declaration of death was issued.
The SAPS is investigating the incident.
