House Break-In near Temple Valley

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to a home on Protea Road in Lotusville – Verulam after receiving a call from a member of public requesting assistance at a property where a woman was heard screaming for help. The caller believed that there was a house robbery in progress.

Several Reaction Officers were dispatched and upon arrival were informed that the homeowner heard noises on her roof while she was alone on the property. Upon her investigation, she noticed two men on her roof. A few roof tiles were removed and one of the suspects was in the process of lowering himself into the ceiling when she started screaming for help.

Both suspects then jumped off the roof and fled on foot. The only description that was provided was that one of the suspects was dressed in a red t-shirt.

Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the two however no arrests were made.
