One dead, one critical in a collision on the R540 in the direction of Dullstroom in Sabie

Mpumalanga: Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R540 in the direction of Dullstroom in Sabie.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in a rollover.

One person sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital by helicopter ambulance.

Another person was assessed on scene but sadly showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on the scene.

Four other people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

All the patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
