Police seek missing teenager

KING WILLIAMS TOWN – The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Port Elizabeth are urgently trying to trace a 14-year-old girl who walked out of a Place of Safety on 21 June 2019.

According to police information, Ntombizanele Jakuja walked out of the Erica House Place of Safety in Port Elizabeth informing friends that she will return after the school holidays. She allegedly went to live with her boyfriend in Central however no one knows who he is or where he lives. She has since not returned to the Place of Safety. Her mother lives in Sidwell.

Anyone who may have seen her or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact D/Sgt Sonica Van der Merwe on 071 475 2309 or 041 401 3000 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
