A patrolling Alpha Alarms Response officer was swiftly dispatched to a residence on Rawalpindi Road in Merebank, a short while ago, where together with local CPF members, they pursued and apprehended a theft suspect.
The Alpha Alarms Control Room received a panic alert and Alpha Alarms Response was immediately directed to the Rawalpindi road residence where a suspect who is known to the resident threatened her with a knife and stole two black bins before fleeing.
The Alpha Alarms Response member together Rawalpindi Road CPF members pursued and apprehended the suspect.
The suspect was handed over to Wentworth SAPS for further investigation.
