A 41-year man was seriously injured after his vehicle overturned multiple times and crashed in a house on an unnamed road in B Section, Parkgate yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
At approximately 17:26 the Reaction Unit South Africa Operations Center received a call from a resident in the area requesting assistance for the driver who was the only occupant of a maroon Opel Astra.
Upon arrival, it was established the driver lost control of his vehicle which knocked into a light pole and overturned several times before it travelled down an embankment and crashed into a house. Bystanders pulled the man out of the extensively damaged vehicle while awaiting the arrival of emergency services.
The 41-year-old was stabilized by scene by Medics before being transported to the hospital.
