Last night at approximately 8:30pm Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to an accident just outside Port Edward.
Paramedics arrived to find that a car had lost control and gone off the road into a ditch. 4 occupants were in the car who had sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics treated and stabilized the patients on the scene before transporting them to hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the accident is not known, but authorities are investigating.
