Another successful arrest. Garsfontein water meter thief arrested. This morning at 04h00 on a routine patrol our reaction officer noted a suspect hiding in the dark. Our officer investigated and caught the suspect with stolen copper pipes and water meters.
The suspect started running whereby our officer called for backup and a chase ensued. The suspect started jumping walls, but our officers managed to arrest the suspect shortly after. The suspect was handed over to Garsfontein SAPS. Well done team! Have a safe weekend.
