In the early hours of this morning, 25 October 2019, members of Elliot K9 unit conducted a joint operation at Maclear and Ugie on information provided from Elliot Cluster Crime Intelligence.
At Maclear the following suspects were arrested after their premises was searched with Narcotic dog “Jerry”. A 19-year-old male at Sithole locality, Maclear for Dealing in drugs he had 12 Full boss Mandrax in his possession and an amount of R450. 00 cash.
In the second case a 21-year-old suspect of Sonwabile Extension Maclear was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
1x Ryobi Handline Grinder, 5x cutting discs plates Grinder was found in his possession.
The Elliot Cluster Commander Col Matshediso Gezani commended the members from the different units that combined their expertise in successfully fighting crime in the Cluster.
