KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H22 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R33 in the direction of New Hanover in Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the vehicle leaving the road.
Medics assessed the scene and found that a 37-year-old male and an 8-year-old male had sustained minor injuries.
Both patients were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
