Vehicle rollover leaves woman seriously injured off the R42 near Three Rivers.

A woman, believed to be in her 20s, was left seriously injured this morning when her light motor vehicle rolled off the R42 near Three Rivers.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 05h00 to find a light motor vehicle off to the side of the road. A woman, believed to be in her 20s, was found lying inside the vehicle.

Medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.

The woman was treated, provided with pain-relief medication and was thereafter transported to Kopanong Provincial Hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
