14 Injured in collision on the Old Matuba road

Monday afternoon at approximately 5:30 Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to The Old Matuba road for and accident.

When emergency services arrived they found that a car and taxi had been involved in a collision.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found 14 occupants that had sustained minor to serious injuries. 5 of the patients did not require and transport to hospital. The remaining 9 patients were treated and transported to hospital.

The cause of the accident is not known.
