The body of a man was found this morning in the Trichardspruit River in Trichardspruit, Mpumalanga.
ER24 paramedics, SAPS Search and Rescue and Delta-1 Rescue, arrived on the scene at 09h45 after members of the local farming community had spotted the body.
SAPS and Delta-1 Rescue Services retrieved the body and returned to the banks of the river to the waiting paramedics.
Unfortunately, the man had been dead for some time. Nothing more could be done for him.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
