This morning at approximately 5am Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to Osizweni road for reports of an accident.
When paramedics arrived they found that 2 cars had been involved in a head-on collision.
After assessing the scene paramedics found 1 person to have sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before paramedics arrived. 2 others sustained serious injuries and were treated on scene and transported to hospital.
The cause of the accident is not known, authorities are investigating.
