EASTERN CAPE – Matatiele SAPS are investigating a case of murder after a 34-year-old man was fatally shot at Harry Gwala Park, Matatiele on 15 December 2019 at about 21:44.
It is alleged that the victim was about to park his vehicle inside his yard when the shooting happened.
On arrival, the members noticed that the deceased vehicle front door window on the driver’s side was broken. They also found the deceased body on the driver’s seat already.
All role players were contacted and they attended the scene. The motive for the murder is still unknown at the moment but police are following all possible leads. No one has been arrested yet. A Task Team has been established to investigate the incident.
